
Who We Are
The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) has been a steward of the outdoors since 1916, leading in wildlife conservation and inspiring people to value the outdoors and their role in nature. DWR is responsible for the management of inland fisheries, wildlife, and recreational boating for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Boater Education Regional Coordinators are:

What We Do
The primary purpose of the Recreational Boating Safety Program is to reduce the number of boating incidents by promoting safe boating practices.
